Growing up near Holywood, Stephen has viewed some of the most amazing sky’s at sunset, which happen most evenings over the Belfast lough and has found painting inspiration here for many years. This image has been painted from Kinnegar looking out over the Belfast lough at sunset on one of those very nights. Holywood over that last number of years has become well known for its famous golf prodigy Rory McIlroy who grew up there and has put Holywood, County Down on the world sporting map.
