Growing up in Belfast, a trip to the north coast every few months was always a family treat back in the 1980’s. He loves the mythical stories associated with the geological rock formations and as an artist, the views and sunsets inspire him to return every few months now with his wife and two boys to carry on that old tradition. The Giant’s Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland, about three miles northeast of the town of Bushmills.
