Sarah Kelly's work is inspired by the faded, weathered painted wood of the English seaside and the sun-bleached colours of the Mediterranean. This small hare brooch has been cut from cherry wood and engraved with an original hand-drawn design inspired by lush Mediterranean foliage. It is hand-painted using gorgeous, traditional Farrow & Ball duck egg blue paint and then finished with matte varnish.
