Based in County Down, Ruth Osborne creates mixed-media original works on Irish Linen inspired by the landscape and flora of the local area and the changing seasons. This open edition print of her original artwork features a wild Irish hedgerow as it turns from summer greens to the bronze, russet and soft yellow of autumn. Forms and patterns have been made using native foliage collected in County Down. The title references the traditional Celtic festival of Lughnasa in Ireland, which marks the beginning of the harvest season and sees Summer gradually transition to Autumn. Unframed prints are prints are printed on high quality textured German etching paper and packaged in a clear cellophane bag.
