Polly Gribben
Ballymena, Northern Ireland
Polly Gribben grew up in the County Antrim countryside and has always enjoyed exploring the land. She has vivid memories of sunny days filled with river paddling, bluebell hunting and tramping through forests. Inspired by the design in nature she saw around her, she pursued a career in architecture, studying at the Mackintosh School (Glasgow School of Art). Polly thrived on the study of light and space and developed a passion for painting. Polly's fascination with 'lines in the landscape' can now be seen in her paintings. Using acrylics and oils with brushes and pallet knives, she works to capture disappearing moments of places she loves.
