Based in Belfast, artist Peter Martin illustrates local landscapes and landmarks and uses digital and mixed media to create his vibrant works of art. Peter studied Illustration at University College Falmouth, and Critical Approaches to Children’s Literature at The University of Cambridge. This exhibition entitled ‘In the beginning was the Irish rain’ features illustrations of places in Ireland, England and France that were important in the life and development of the poet Louis MacNeice.
