All of Nicola Briggs' work is handcrafted in small batches from her studio in Manchester. She creates contemporary porcelain ceramics and jewellery inspired by textures within nature and the ever-changing light across the landscape. She contrasts torn rims and raw unglazed exteriors with decorative details and glossy glazes. Her work is finished with touches of platinum and copper to give it a modern but rustic look and feel.
