Megan Cartwright’s home studio is based in New Milton on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. All of her handmade ceramics are individually made with slabs or coils of clay, which are carefully shaped by hand. Made entirely by hand, each of Megan's little tea light houses is individually handcrafted with cut out windows and doors, making each one unique. When a tea light is lit inside them their little windows and doors glow delicately. The tea light houses in the photos are examples and the layout of doors and windows may vary. The houses are hand built in stoneware clay without a potter's wheel.
