Lucy Leach moved from Sussex to Cornwall in 2010. Her love of textiles was re-ignited when she joined a sewing group within weeks of moving. Her hand sewn projects evolved as she grew in confidence and started to explore free machine embroidery. She works from her home studio in Truro, by the River Fal and is inspired by Cornwall's beautiful beaches and quaint harbours. Using her sewing machine as her pencil, Lucy layers textiles to create unique decorations and homeware.
