Saturday 22nd May to Friday 28th May 2021
10am - 4pm
An exhibition of original paintings by local artist Louise Lennon exploring countryside and landmarks on our doorstep in Northern Ireland. The exhibition captures scenes of Moira, Hillsborough, Lurgan, the Mournes and Belfast.
Louise Lennon is a contemporary artist working mainly in oil. She aims to convey texture and earthiness, capturing the ordered chaos and random patterns in nature. Her inspiration comes from the peaceful solitude that can be found in the barren Irish landscape. Over the past few months, Louise has spent time walking the country lanes of rural Armagh where she grew up. This is reflected in many of the pieces in 'A Short Walk' where rolling drumlins, ancient hedgerows and derelict farms can be seen.
