Liz Toole creates imaginary scenes filled with the patterns of nature inspired by both the Sussex countryside and the diversity of life she found whilst travelling in Africa. She is interested in looking at the details of trees and plants and Indian textiles. Within her work as a whole, Liz uses nature as a metaphor for human emotions. All of her screen prints are hand-made in small editions in her studio in Brighton. Oh yes, one more thing …Liz quite likes birds!
