Libby Ballard’s ceramic journey started back at school where she first fell in love with clay. She continued to make, refining her skills and finding her own style. Having grown up on the Isle of Wight the coast remains a huge influence on her work. All of Libby’s ceramics are made from a flecked and blended stoneware clay. Each piece is individually hand thrown on the potter’s wheel, bisque fired and glazed using her own unique glaze recipes.
