This Sycamore Platter with textured rim was made by local artist Harry Toner during lockdown. “I found lockdown very stressful. Although I had lots of time at home, I found it hard to be motivated. I had little in terms of wood stock having used up most before Christmas. However, I had one large piece of sycamore and after a lot of deliberation I decided to make this platter. The decoration on the rim just evolved as I progressed.”
