'Whinney Hill' is a hand printed limited edition lithograph by Gail Kelly of Algan Arts. Featuring a cottage in the Irish landscape, this beautiful piece of art is created is many stages which first involves drawing and painting the image onto a block of Bavarian limestone, process and etch it before printing. The surface of the stone is treated with a chemical etch and then the paper is laid on the top. The process is repeated for each colour and then the stone is grained (smoothed) so that it can be used over and over again for many years. The unframed lithograoh comes mounted.
