Felicity Jones

London, England

Felicity Jones collects wayside flowers, grasses, fallen blossom and skeletal leaves on the ground, presses the plants and then uses them when casting forms in porcelain. After the first firing, the imprints are painted with underglaze colours using a watercolour technique. Pieces are glazed, fired again and the rim finished with a gold lustre before a final firing. Felicity’s work can is on display at Petersham Nurseries in London and Surrey.
