This print is an artist reproduction of Danielle's original watercolour 'John Hewitt' sketch. The story of her original John Hewitt Sketch: "The Craic was 90!” That's what we call a good night here in Northern Ireland. When Danielle was travelling in the Summer of 2000, she worked in a bar in Wildwood, New Jersey. She got a lot of strange looks when she used this term. "The CRACK was what? You Irish are craaaazy!" she was told. After some explanations, and a few laughs, her American customers got the picture. It's an Irish charm, we've many of them here.

It's one of the reasons why St Patrick's day is celebrated all over the world. Everyone can drink Guinness,  pretend to play the spoons and be an Irish dancer for the day. It's called having fun. 'Craic' can be found in many Irish establishments. Belfast Bars especially. Danielle suggests starting with the John Hewitt.

A gicleé is a scanned reproduction of an original piece of art and is a perfect way to build your art collection. They are small, inexpensive and super high quality images. If you have a blank wall just waiting for some colour and personality or you’d like to add to your collection of art, this is the perfect place to start.
