This original acrylic painting is entitled 'At the Foot of the Mountain' and is part of a solo exhibition by local artist Barbara Conway. Working from her home studio in Lisburn, Barbara Conway has developed her own unique style. Her paintings begin with an intuitive abstract underpainting before sketching and adding layers and colour blocking. The background often guides the colour choices for the final piece. Barbara takes inspiration from happy memories and trips to places visited locally in Northern Ireland.

The piece has been professionally framed in a contemporary white wooden tray frame to complement the artwork.
